This year has been an exception. Thank you DVR.
J and I usually don't watch AI on Wednesday, because we are at church. We figure that we can watch it the next evening. Somehow on Thursdays, we manage to miss hearing who was voted off the night before. Amazing isn't it? Just watch, someone will try to ruin it next week for me.
I wouldn't normally write about any show, especially one with it's roots in reality TV. I really don't care for most of the "reality" shows. They seem too fake to me. What part of reality do the producers and writers not understand?
Reality - "the state or quality of being real, a real thing, fact."
I digress. Anyway, when I saw that the contestants would be preforming Bon Jovi songs, I was excited. Not just because they were songs by Bon Jovi, but I was also excited to see what they would do with them.
When I was younger, I use to love Bon Jovi. I guess that I still have a place in my heart for them.
After watching AI last night, I have to share the video below. Hopefully a certain video hosting site won't remove it. *coughyoutubecough*
I think the singers all did a good job. Some of them excelled, while others struggled. I really enjoyed seeing what Blake did with the song, "You Give Love a Bad Name".
Are you a Blaker fan? I am, so I guess that would make me a "Blaker Girl". Sorry, I had to use that phrase. I know it will get old in a day, but it's still kinda cute now.
Here's Mr. Beatbox in all his glory.
I loved it, truly.
