Let's Reminisce

Take a walk with me down memory lane.

Back to my childhood.

It was a happy time. Sesame Street, and Mr. Rogers were the shows to watch. They were educational and actually worth watching.

Not to say I didn't watch other shows. I was a huge fan of He Man and the Masters of the Universe. "I have the power!" (My mom would get a kick out of that.)

This was a time back before the high pitched voice of a furry red puppet was ever invented, Mr. Hooper still ran the Sesame Street corner store, and we actually went outside to play instead of sitting on our butts playing video games.

I did a few searches and found these awesome videos of some classics.
Enjoy!

Sesame Street - Pinball Number Count
This was my all time favorite and still is.
I can count to 12 because of this.

Mr. Rogers - B Boy
How cool was Fred, I mean Mr. Rogers to have a B Boy on the show?
I miss him.

Here's Mr. Rogers' classic musical opening.

Sesame Street - The Ladybugs' Picnic
Loved it! I still can't help but sing along.

Sesame Street - The Alligator King
Oh wow! I had forgotten about this one.

Sesame Street - C is for Cookie
Another awesome classic. I loved Cookie Monster!
"Nom nom nom!"

Sesame Street - The Count counts apples
Hilarious clip with The Count and Cookie Monster.
I'm still laughing from this one!
Watch it to the end. "Ah ah ah ah ah!"

Wow, I think I'll be in a good mood for the rest of the day now! Those were such good memories.

Do you remember those clips and shows? What were your favorites?

That is so funny that you did this, a few weekends ago I was messing around on YouTube and I also started playing old cartoons. It seemed like every one I put on Bryan and I both were like "man - I used to love that show!" and the kids were watching the computer monitor like they were in a trance. Some of ours were Jem, He-Man and She-Ra, The Gummi Bears, Smurfs, Thundercats, and the list goes on and on. :)
