1. I like turtles/tortoises, sea otters, and horses. If humans were reincarnated, I'd probably pick a sea turtle. Okay not really, but I do like them.
2. When I was in elementary school I was afraid that a vampire lived in my closet at night. Sometimes it made me feel better to leave the closet door open so I could be sure he wasn't inside. Other times I kept it closed so he couldn't get out. Heh, heh.
3. I'm addicted to candles. I love to smell them, and have many around our home. I like them because I think they seem welcoming. J tries to keep me from walking down the candle aisle in any store (I'm actually pretty good about that now - no more therapy).
4. I like looking at catalogs. The really good ones. Camping equipment, clothing, home decor, it doesn't matter. In the past I use to circle items that I wanted, but never bought. Now I just make a mark. (Oh, that's much better isn't it?) I guess it helps me resist the urge to buy stuff, and it saves a ton of money!
5. Here's an annoying habit I learned from my childhood, which I dislike doing. When someone walks out of a room and leaves the light on, I will sometimes ask, "Are you done in there?" I can't help it. My sister and I were lectured about leaving lights on and running the electricity bill up. (It was for a good reason, I understand.) I'm actually getting better about not saying anything, and it's almost like a joke with J and I now.
6. I wish that I could play ice hockey. I've always liked it. I remember staying up late in middle school to watch the Red Wings. There's something about being on ice, playing a challenging game, and the total roughness of it that I think is so cool. However, being short, petite, and a woman doesn't help much.
I never said that I wasn't a little "out there".

Excuse me, but I am getting lots of laughs from the mental picture of you playing hockey.
You'd give 'em a run for their money!
My hubby does the same with the light switch thing. It bugs him so much...he walks around and shuts off lights behind me now and just grumbles under his breath. hehe.
