I think that is a great question, and in this clip from ABC, Dr. Randy Pausch does a great job of answering it.
I really like when he said,
"I think it will be a real challenge to see if I can squeeze the lemons hard enough to still get lemonade the last few weeks."If only we all thought like that.
He is still living his life with the goal of enjoying every little bit. He doesn't regret it, and doesn't feel sorry about his situation.

What an inspiration! I would hope that I would have that kind of attitude if I were ever faced with a situation as difficult as that.

My son was named after a close friend of ours who passed in his early thirties of Pancreatic Cancer.
His name was Ben. He was strong and positive and selfless just like this guy.
My Ben has an angel watching over him for a lifetime, I just know it.

I saw this on Good Morning America the day it aired. I was very encouraged at his approach to life in general. What an inspiration!
