Ahh, Christmas memories.
I don't really remember the picture with Santa, but I do have a slight recollection of the striped doll next to me in the second picture. I think my mom made it for my sister.
I don't care who you say he is, just pick me up!
Do I get to keep the candy cane?

My sister looked a little worried (or embarrassed), and I was not cool with any of it.
Can you blame me? He was a little scary looking.

I REMEMBER THAT DOLL, TOO!!!!!!
In the first picture, you were about 2, right? And sis was about 4 or so? That expression on her face was the "I'm so much older and wiser!" And I saw it often for those first few years. It was because you were like such a doll! Everyone who used to "oooh" and "ahhh!" about her was crazy about you and how tiny and precious you were!
The doll was her "dancing doll" if I recall correctly! That was the coolest doll I had ever seen and I remember a picture of her dancing with it. Thanks for the memories, Hol!
I love the pictures, you were such a cutie!
glee - Yes, that was the "dancing doll". I think my parents have a picture of C with the doll in the backyard of your mom and dad's old house.
I'm going to try and scan more pictures when I'm at my parents. There are quite a few I'd like to have copies of. (My dad scanned and sent me about 100 picts last year before Christmas.)
mommiebear2 - Thank you. It's always fun to look at old pictures and remember things.
I love it when people post old pics! Thanks for sharing!!
Those are great pics!! I'll have to pull out our old Easter pics when that time comes - there's some winners of you and I :) Can't wait to see you! Let's email and set something up!
