A New Do!

I had my hair cut on Saturday. It was long overdue and I was in need of something new. I thought this was just the thing. If I remember correctly, the last time I had my hair cut was in October. [Bad me!]

Almost 5 months since my last cut? No wonder it had gotten so long, and was looking a bit rough. Yikes!

In the "before" photos I had let my hair air dry, so you can see the natural wave/curl. That's not bad, but the pictures aren't my favorite. The "after" photos of course, were when my stylist dried and straight-ironed my hair.

You should have seen the hair on the floor. There wasn't enough for Locks of Love, but still quite a bit to see laying under my feet. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me to take that picture. Oh well.

Ta da!

Now comes the trial period. The time when I try to figure out how to fix it and get it to look decent. Maybe one day this week I'll air dry and partially diffuse it using some mousse and let it be curly. My hope and the plan was to have my hair shorter to allow my natural wave/curl to look best. When it's long, it really weighs down and gets flat on top, which looks kinda crummy.

How pretty! I love it! And I bet it will look awesome with curl, too. I love having my hair short. I hope you enjoy it too!

Looks good! I hate the "trial" period! I have started trying to blow dry my hair now for a few months and I like the look, but don't know how long I'll be able to keep it up! Your hair always looks good!

WOW you had lots cut off! I'm not brave enough to have mine cut off.. I did it once a few years ago and hated it. Yours isn't too short though, and it looks nice.
