Memories and Laughter

If you haven't seen this on the news yet, or on one of your friend's blogs… get ready!

Such a fun, and cute wedding experience!

Our friend C, who married J and I used a few lines from The Princess Bride in our wedding.

It really helped calm our nerves, and everyone had a good laugh before the ceremony got under way. It still makes me smile to this day.

"Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam...

And wuv, tru wuv, will fowow you foweva...

So tweasure your wuv."

What are your memories from your wedding? Your children's? What memories do you want to have from your own wedding someday?

That's a great video! Justin and I are definitely not brave enough to have tackled that. What fun, though. :-)

I remember that at our wedding, my dad and I were standing in the back waiting for our turn, and the music they put on for Justin and the bridal party to walk down the aisle to was the wrong song. It was the song I was supposed to enter to, and I made my dad go out and tell them it was wrong. You can see Justin's face on our wedding video looking puzzled because he knew it was wrong, too. My dad couldn't figure out why it mattered to me. :-)

Isn't it funny the things that go wrong at a wedding? Most of the people don't even notice. Except the bride & groom of course!

The morning of our wedding, my hairstylist didn't show up at the salon. Instead of freaking out, I improvised. I knew my sister and I could get my hair done. (I had fixed it for prom on my own, so this wouldn't be too much different.) My mom and MIL on the other hand were a little stressed, and miffed at the stylist... especially when I had called her that morning and reminded her.

It turned out just fine, and the only time I was stressed was trying to find bobby pins at Sally Beauty – with about 1 hour before I had to be at the church for pictures.
