The Simpsons = pure joy
(I'll probably have some crazy Google searches with this one.)
If you haven't heard that there is a new Simpsons movie coming out on 7.27.07, then you either don't care for them, or you live under a rock.
Just kidding!
When I was growing up I wasn't allowed to watch The Simpsons on TV. It wasn't until college that I really understood why. Truth is, I didn't need any encouragement or ideas from Bart and other characters when I was in middle and high school.
I did however manage to get a Bart Simpson T-shirt while on vacation in Washington DC. I think that was back in the early 90's, but I don't remember for sure. I think the shirt was of Bart saying "Don't have a cow, man!"
Priceless.
Have you seen that 7-Eleven Stores are getting a temporary face lift?
Anything to boost ticket sales right? Actually it's kind of cool... if you don't have children.
I say that because I wouldn't be too pleased about this if I had children. Why? Sugar, sugar, and more sugar with some caffeine thrown in there for good measure. That's why.
They are actually selling "KrustyO's" cereal, "Buzz Cola", and "Squishees" (which are a knockoff of 7-Eleven's Slurpees if you don't watch the show). In addition to that, they have all sorts of other promotional items. Hello eBay!
I'm just glad they aren't selling "Duff" beer. That would create a problem with kids, no matter how much someone would want to deny it. Think of Shrek being on a bottle of Budweiser. Try to tell me that wouldn't draw the kids in. Thank goodness no one is doing that either.
They even have the pink glazed donuts with sprinkles.
"Mmmm, forbidden donut."
Down here in H-town I can't find a 7-Eleven, but they're all over Dallas. No fair! I can't get a normal Slurpee, or a pink glazed donut. Oh well. I bet it would be hard to get inside a 7-Eleven these days any way.

that seriously rocks my world. too bad our 7 elevens haven't made it here yet...I may have to go to the metroplex and get a squishee and a donut! mmmm donuts...
The thought of the movie and the stores make me all giddy. Could you imagine going in for a donut and a Squishee for breakfast?

I saw the commercial for this (the 7 elevens) for the first time yesterday, I think it is a pretty neat idea.
I haven't seen a commercial for it yet... hmm, I must find one.
Yes, I can imagine going in for a donut and a Squishee for breakfast. And if we could top it off with cake, that'd be great.
And the Simpson's?
