What a fun Thursday and Friday at Our Little Home.
Yea! No more poo. Our water is fine... now. We received a second notice just a little while ago. I also heard it on the news. They just reported it, the day after it happened. Way to be on top of things guys!
Thankfully, we no longer need to boil our water. It has been disinfected, and tests show that it's safe to use and drink.
I'm glad. I don't think I would be able to stand the heat coming from the stove, along with the 96 degree heat that feels like 101 outside. Why should that make a difference you ask? Because our AC unit isn't working properly again. Again. Meh!
The AC guy is coming out again for the third time. I'd really like them to fix our BRAND NEW air conditioning unit, instead of tinkering with it to find a temporary solution.
Is that too much to ask?
Tell me this. Why do things break right before or even during the weekend? That's probably the most difficult time to get someone out to fix something.
I'm thankful for ceiling fans and shorts... oh and iced tea.

Oh, Hol, I am so sorry! You have really had a rough time lately! I know it is rough, but hang tough. It is good you have each other during all this trouble!
I love you both!

i'm glad your water is poo free. oh and i'd be bitch slapping the fools that didn't fix my new a/c. but then again, you're a lot nicer than i!!!
iced tea? yeah, that's my version of cocaine.
I'm so glad your water is good now. Boiling water in the middle of the summer is not fun.
And I hope you can get an actual fix for your AC! Get a second opinion or something. Or bribe the repairman with iced tea. There's gotta be some way to make it all work!
So sorry to hear you had poo in your water! (I can't help but giggle) At least you knew before you made a big pitcher of iced tea. (You didn't drink any of the tainted stuff did you!?!)
EW! Poo in the water???? OH LORDY! So glad it's better. I'm impressed you're looking at the bright side!! I'd be pissing and moaning and calling a cush hotel that doesn't have poo in the water to see if they have a vacancy.
xo.
Total ew on the poo water but I totally feel you on the ac issue. Ours sucks and even though it is set at 75 it is currently 84 degrees in our home. :(
How are things now?
There is nothing worse than drinking water that you boiled, knowing that it had poo in it. Somehow the boiling doesn't seem to help my mind get over that little tidbit of info. Glad you are in the clear. Oh, and you need to get a new A/C guy - it's too hot to be dealing with a broken A/C all summer! :)
