J just told me that his cousin, Mandy, was killed in a car accident. It happened this morning. I can only assume that his mother called to tell him a few minutes ago after the news reached her.
She and her husband, along with their child just moved back to Texas. It seems as though she lost control of her vehicle and it rolled, ejecting her. She was the only one in the car, so no one else was hurt.
All I can think is, not again.
Not another family member in the same year.
I know it's never easy to hear or to "understand", but it makes things all the more difficult when the hurt we feel is still present.
Please pray for J and his family during this time. Also pray that we have a safe trip. We'll be leaving Friday night for the funeral on Saturday.

I saw J pretty upset as I was leaving work but I didnt want to ask because he had a few people already around him, and then bringing it up the next day I was worried of getting him sad again. My prayers are with you guys.
